Life-Long Dedication To Healthy Smiles

Get To Know Dr. Nikita Goradia

As she grew up in Mumbai, India, Dr. Goradia was always drawn to biology, science, and medicine. But when she visited the dentist as a teenager for help with her painful impacted wisdom teeth, she knew she’d found her future career.

She went to the prestigious Nair Hospital Dental College in Mumbai to obtain her dental degree in India. After her residency, she worked in a private office for five years, improving her skills in restorative, preventive, and cosmetic care.

Once she married her husband, they decided to relocate and raise their family in the United States, choosing to settle in New Jersey. Dr. Goradia attended the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine to obtain her U.S. dental degree. She graduated in 2020 and worked for several private practices, but her dream was always to open her own office.

With Gem Dental, Dr. Goradia has realized her dream. As the owner and operator of our practice, she can build a legacy that will last for years to come, fulfill her own vision of holistic dental care, and help her community maintain healthier, happier smiles.

Outside of her work at Gem Dental, Dr. Goradia loves spending time with her husband and family. She also enjoys drawing, taking her dog on walks around the neighborhood, and exploring the great outdoors on hikes, and gardening.

What To Expect

From Your First Visit

First, you’ll check in with our front desk. Then, you can sit down, sip some water, and watch TV in our waiting room. As you may have guessed from the name of our practice, gemstones are everywhere! Each one of our seven operatories are named after unique gemstones.

You’ll meet Dr. Goradia, and she’ll learn a little bit more about you and your smile goals. Then, she’ll take X-rays and perform an oral exam to check for cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues.

Once that’s done, she’ll discuss her findings with you, as well as any follow-up treatments that you may need. Then, one of our hygienists will clean, polish, and floss your teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
